What These Specifications Mean

Depth should match the work you plan to do. Facial areas often call for shallower settings. A system with greater body depth gives a trained operator more range, but deeper is not automatically better.

Pin count changes the treatment footprint. Higher-pin cartridges cover a wider area, while lower-pin tips can give more control in smaller areas. Insulated needles limit where RF energy leaves the needle. Non-insulated needles release energy along more of the shaft. Confirm available needle types for the exact model and protocol.

Bipolar RF passes energy between nearby electrodes. Monopolar RF uses a wider electrical path. The TM50B offers both. Cooling handles and cold hammers do not replace correct settings, but they can make the post-treatment workflow easier.

Which Machine Fits Your Treatment Menu?

There is no single best RF microneedling machine for every practice. Start with the services you expect to sell.

  1. Match the depth, cartridges and treatment areas to your menu.
  2. Confirm the device status required by your state, medical director and insurer.
  3. Add cartridge cost to every planned treatment.
  4. Compare training resources, warranty terms and support.

For face-focused services: Start with the Minas TM50B. Its 0.5–3 mm range, three cartridge sizes and dedicated cooling handle are built around facial work. It is also the only model in this range specifically listed for Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI. Treatment settings still need to follow supported guidance.

For face and deeper body work: The TM80 has the broadest stated depth range, reaching up to 7 mm for body applications. Its 13 cartridge types also give a practice more tip choices.

For a wider tool set: The Shape Tactics Targeted system adds three RF settings, a nano tip, vacuum assist and cold hammer. It suits buyers who want one platform for face, neck and body workflows.

For the lowest starting price: The Shape Tactics Vacuum system costs $2,912.99 and includes vacuum suction, cooling, a skin analyzer and blue light. It is a practical shortlist option when budget matters, provided its regulatory status and specifications fit your planned use.

Effectiveness depends on more than a long feature list. The operator must use the right depth, RF setting, cartridge and technique for the treatment area.

Buying Your First System

A new med spa should place regulatory documents, training access and consumable costs ahead of extra features. A three-year warranty may also matter more than an added handpiece when the machine will be used every day.

If you are a licensed esthetician, first confirm whether your state lets you perform RF microneedling and what supervision is required. We can supply device documents for that review, but your state board and insurer make the rules that apply to your work.

How These Machines Compare With Premium Platforms

Our systems share some core features with well-known premium platforms: adjustable needle depth, sterile needle cartridges, RF energy and, on selected models, bipolar RF, vacuum or cooling.

That does not make every platform the same.

A premium system may have stronger client name recognition, more published clinical research, patented feedback controls, a larger service network and higher resale value. Those points can matter to an established clinic. They also form part of the higher purchase and service cost.

Our machines cost from $2,912.99 to $4,700 before optional supplies. When comparing that price with a premium quote, check three things: the exact device clearance or certification, the cartridge cost per service, and who will help when you need a part or technical answer. We provide a US point of contact for all three.

How RF Microneedling Works

The cartridge places fine needles into the skin at a selected depth. RF energy then passes through the needles into the treatment area. This creates small zones of controlled heat around the microchannels.

That fractional process is used to support collagen and elastin remodeling. The operator controls the depth, energy and pulse settings based on the area, client and approved protocol.

Practices use radiofrequency microneedling machines for services aimed at fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, acne scars, surgical scars, stretch marks, enlarged pores and uneven texture. Depending on the system, work may include the face, neck, décolletage and body. Do not assume scalp use unless it appears in the selected model’s supported instructions.

Results develop over time and often build through a course of treatments. They should not be sold as instant or guaranteed.

RF Machine or Microneedling Pen?

A standard microneedling pen creates channels but does not add controlled RF heat in the dermis. RF microneedling adds a thermal step that can support services for laxity and deeper texture concerns.

The pen is not useless. Many practices keep both because they serve different treatment plans and price points.

Price, Cartridges and Payback

Complete machines in this collection run from $2,912.99 to $4,700 at current prices. The difference reflects depth range, RF modes, cartridge choice, cooling, vacuum features, added handpieces and warranty length.

The purchase price is only one part of the budget. Every treatment also needs a sterile, single-use cartridge made for that exact platform. Cartridges should never be reused or moved between systems.

We handle cartridge orders, replacement parts and manufacturer coordination through our US support team. Compatibility is checked by machine and cartridge type before an order is supplied. Eligible replacement handpieces can also be sourced through us; availability and warranty coverage depend on the model.

What Comes With the Machine?

Package contents vary by model. Your product page or written quote will list the console, included handpieces, starter cartridge sizes, cables, pedals where used, manual, protocol resources and training access.

Do not assume that every cartridge or optional handpiece is included. We will confirm the complete package before payment.

Simple Payback Estimate

Here is a clear way to test the numbers. This example assumes a $350 treatment price and 10 paid treatments per month.

Let C equal the single-use cartridge price for the chosen machine.

CalculationFormula
Gross contribution per session$350 minus C
Treatments to recover machine priceMachine price divided by ($350 minus C)
Approximate payback timeTreatments to recover price divided by 10
Five-year machine and cartridge costMachine price plus 600 × C

For example, the lowest-priced system starts with a $2,912.99 equipment cost. The TM80 begins at $4,700. Insert the current cartridge price to compare them on the same basis.

This is not net profit. It leaves out labor, room costs, marketing, payment fees, tax, aftercare and other overhead.

Training, Warranty and US Support

Owner resources depend on the selected model. Available materials may include manuals, protocol guides, setup videos and warranty documents. Before purchase, we will confirm the exact training format, protocol support and whether a completion certificate is available for your machine.

Training should cover setup, cartridge handling, treatment-area planning, client screening, aftercare and supported settings by area and skin type. It does not change state licensing or supervision rules.

The TM80 and Minas TM50B include three-year warranties. Both Shape Tactics systems include two-year warranties. Consumable cartridges are not covered as reusable machine parts.

Model-specific coverage, handpiece terms and service steps are stated in the written warranty. Our team helps with technical questions, manufacturer contact, replacement parts and cartridge orders.

Manufacturer Details

Our range includes systems from Winkonlaser and Shape Tactics. Manufacturing country and verified certifications for each model are listed in its product documents: {{MANUFACTURER_COUNTRIES_AND_CERTIFICATIONS}}.

We are your US point of contact for the sale, technical questions, parts, cartridges and service coordination. We do not treat a factory registration as proof that a device itself has FDA clearance.

FDA Status and Professional Use

Medical devices are generally described as FDA cleared through the 510(k) process, not “FDA approved.” Clearance applies to a specific device and stated use. FDA establishment registration alone does not mean a machine has been cleared.

The exact status of every model is shown in the comparison table and supporting product documents. Where a clearance applies, we can provide the clearance number and underlying document for review.

This matters because your state board, insurer or medical director may ask for the exact device status and intended use. It also affects how you may market the service.

Safety and Skin Types

RF microneedling can cause serious harm when it is used with the wrong depth, energy, placement or technique. The FDA has identified risks including burns, scarring, fat loss and nerve injury.

The FDA safety communication dated {{FDA_SAFETY_COMMUNICATION_DATE}} should be reviewed by practices offering this procedure.

System safeguards vary. The TM80 has vacuum sensing and RFID cartridge checks. The TM50B includes a cooling handle. Both Shape Tactics models include a cold hammer. Adjustable depth and model-specific protocols help the operator plan treatment, but they do not replace training and client screening.

The TM50B is specified for Fitzpatrick skin types I–VI. Do not extend that statement to every machine without its supporting guidance.

RF Microneedling Is Not a Home Procedure

Professional RF microneedling should not be attempted at home. These systems use powered needles, controlled RF energy and sterile single-use cartridges at professional treatment depths.

Many products sold online as “home RF microneedling” are either needle-free surface-heating tools or professional equipment sold without proper training and support. Those are not the same thing.

If you want a home device, choose a needle-free RF product made for consumer use and keep expectations realistic. Home RF works at a different level and should not be presented as a substitute for in-clinic RF microneedling.
